1966-1967 this guy is alive and kicking
Larry left the LRRP Platoon I believe in May of 67 and joined SOG out of
Kontum. Larry was completely fearless on patrol, when you went out with SGT. WILLEY you
had better be prepared to fight, recon was only a secondary consideration with him. Long
after he left the platoon people were still telling stories about this man, I talk to
Larry in Feb of 1968 in the hospital he had just received either his 5th or 6th Purple
Heart.Such is the stuff that the people on these pages were made of. |
